The Zephir CRAB 1500 E and CRAB 1800 E are the lightest, most compact mobile railcar movers the company has to offer. At a weight of just 4 tons, the 1500 E can pull a maximum load of 300 tons. The 1800 E, which also weighs in at 4 tons, has the strength required to pull up to 360 tons at a time.
The Zephir CRAB 1500 E and CRAB 1800 E, both of which are 100-percent electric and green, are operated using steering wheels while in ground mode. Once the units hit the rail, they require a remote control for all operations.
To meet the high expectations and standards in different applications, Zephir offers custom paint and stickers to the customer’s preference. Furthermore, there is a wide range of hooks, couplers, tow bars and other options available upon request.
